Combi Boiler Reviews by Manufacturer
Potterton offer a range of combination boilers, also known as "Combis", in keeping with their reputation for reliability and high-quality products. Potterton Combis are manufactured to be easy and quick to install in virtually any domestic setting from small to large households. Combis are particularly convenient for homes as they are highly efficient and do not require space-consuming water tanks as they heat water directly from the mains water supply. They are generally easy to operate and their efficiency can considerably reduce energy bills and emissions of environmentally-harmful gasses such as CO2, NOx and SOx.
Potterton produce three lines of combi: Potterton Gold Combi HE A, Potterton Promax Combi HE Plus A and Potterton Performa Combi HE. These are all created with excellent efficiency in mind and the Gold Combi and Promax Combi models are more than 90% efficient and thus have A-ratings as given by SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency in Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom") guidelines. The Performa model has a B-rating. Each model comes with a choice of maximum output which ranges from 24kW to 33kW depending on the household requirements. The Gold Combi has won the Best Buy prize from Which? Magazine and is favoured for its easy of use and durability. It has a 3 year warrantee and is particularly easy to install and its choice of flue systems allows complete freedom in the boiler's placement. The Potterton models come with numerous useful features and benefits to make them straightforward to operate, install and reliable. They can all be situated in unventilated cupboards and accessories such as integral timers make their use very user-friendly.
