Combi Boiler Reviews by Manufacturer
Ferroli offer a range of combination boilers which are ideal for domestic use. Ferroli's selection of gas-powered, wall-hanging units generally uses high-quality materials to ensure efficiency. They are also designed to be user-friendly with regards to their controls and straightforward to install and maintain. The Ferroli Combi boilers directly heat water from the mains supply when hot water is needed thereby getting rid of the need for a large, space-consuming water tank. Through this process, combi boilers are also more efficient than traditional water-heating methods and thus save more energy and lower the consumer's harmful CO2 emissions.
Ferolli Combi boilers come in three bands based on their efficiency rating as tested under SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency in Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom") guidelines. In band A for +90% efficient units, Ferolli manufacture the New Optimax and Maxima condensing boilers. In band B, there are the DOMIcompact models and band D consists of two further DOMIcompact units.
The output of these boilers varies depending upon the model with 24kW and 30kW models available in the DOMIcompact designs. The New Optimax boiler has a 31kW and slightly larger 38kW alternative, and the Maxima have a 35kW output. The boilers also differ in terms of how they are controlled and monitored. The New Optimax boilers have full self-diagnostic software whereas the rest have simple-to-understand LCD panels. The maximum DHW production within the line of Ferolli Combi boilers ranges in association with the maximum output from just under 10 litres per minute to over 15 litres per minute.
