Combi Boiler Reviews by Manufacturer
Alpha Boilers provide a selection of combination boilers to their consumers. Combination boilers or "combi" boilers are favoured by many for a number of reasons. Combi boilers are highly efficient as they heat water from the mains water supply on-demand. This not only eliminates the need for a bulky water storage tank, but can be extremely efficient thereby lowering energy bills and harmful CO2 emissions. Alpha's Combi boilers are ideal for domestic environments.
Alpha have three different combi boiler lines: the Alpha CDC, Alpha CDX and Alpha HE designs. All of their units are extremely efficient and the CDC and CDX brands achieved A-ratings under the SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency in Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom") database and the HE line has a B-rating. The Alpha CDC model is the Alpha 'flagship' combi boiler and contains a number of advanced features which help to make the boilers more efficient, easy to use and easy to install. The control panel is straightforward to use and the Alpha Hydroblock system uses less pipework and makes access for servicing very easy. The model comes in a choice of three outputs – 25, 28 or 35kW – which determine their various maximum flow rates of 9.6, 11.4 and 14.2 respectively. The Alpha CDX line is based on the CBC models and share the compact design and high-quality performance. They come in two versions of 25 or 28kW and are particularly designed to be easy for the consumer to install, maintain and operate. The HE models maintain many similarities with other Alpha Combi boilers and attempt to combine competitive pricing with high efficiency. Different versions come with different range of accessories aimed at servicing the consumer's water-heating and central heating demands.
