Greenstar 37CDi Reviews (Combi Condensing)

Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 37CDi
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 37CDi is a condensing combination – or "combi" – gas-fired boiler which includes a separate plate hot water heat exchanger. This feature in combination with a "keep hot" facility means that hot water is available immediately and at mains pressure. It may therefore be possible to incorporate a high pressure shower in your home without an integral pump and without a cold water storage tank. In any case the absence of a cold water storage tank and the compact dimensions of the Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 37CDi boiler itself, means that it can provide a space saving as well as energy saving solution.
The Greenstar 37CDi recycles the heat from exhaust gases saving up to 20% on heating and hot water costs compared to non-condensing boilers and electronic controls allow hot water to be maintained at a temperature of between 40°C and 60°C, according to your specific needs.
The full specification of the Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 37CDi is as follows:
- 37kW domestic hot water output
- 35 litre (7.69 Imperial gallon) primary water capacity
- Compact dimensions (760mm x 440mm x 360mm, H x W x D) and light weight (48.5kg) so flexible with regard to mounting
- 90.1% energy efficient; rated "A" for energy efficiency by SEDBUK
- Fully condensing in central heating and domestic hot water modes
- Low carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) pollutant emissions
- Central heating boost function for rapid heating
- Central heating and domestic hot water temperature control for flexibility and comfort

Just had this new boiler installed & its very quiet compared to our previous 6yr old Baxi 130HE, which we have replaced due to further breakdowns (this time; a fully burn't out burner). Time will tell, as to this boilers preformance, but so far so good, & seems a good machine. A bit expensive considering other similar boilers but, the test of time will prevail!..
