Greenstar 25Si Reviews (Combi Condensing)

Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 25Si
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 25Si is a small stylish domestic hot water and central heating boiler suitable for hanging on a kitchen wall, for example, in a small or medium-sized property. The Greenstar 25Si boiler offers a central heating output between 7.2kW and 24kW and hot water at a rate of 10.2 litres.
Being a combination condensing boiler the Greenstar 25Si provides rapid heating response and instant hot water but is also more than 90% efficient – compared to 75% or even 50% in some older types of boiler – and is rated "A" according to the SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency in Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom" database). This means that not only is the Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 25Si more economical to run but it reduces the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) – the main "greenhouse" gas – that your household releases into the atmosphere. The Greenstar 25Si is available in a choice of natural gas-fired or LPG-fired models, LPG or "Liquified Petroleum Gas" being the generic name for propane and butane gases.
Other features of the Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 25Si are:
- Compact dimensions of just H710mm x W440mm x D330mm and a weight of just 27kg allowing installation by just one individual in a variety of possible locations
- Multi directional flue options – in 100mm and 125mm sizes – to add flexibility to installation
- Worcester-Bosch 3 series heat cell constructed from cast aluminium and silicon
- "Keep hot" facility to maintain the temperature of the primary heat cell
- Low carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen oxide(s) (NOx) emissions
- Pump seizure protection during periods of inactivity
* When review applies to a range of boilers, efficiency applies to best model in range. Always check with manufacturer.
