Greenstar 24i Junior Reviews (Combi Condensing)

Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior
The Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior is a highly efficient condensing boiler which employs not only the aluminium silicon heat cell found in other Worcester-Bosch condensing boilers but also a separate plate domestic hot water heat exchanger. The ability to cool exhaust gases and extract heat – which would otherwise be lost through the boiler flue – from them means that the Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior can produce savings of between 15% and 20% on your domestic hot water and heating bills
In hot water mode the output of the Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior is increased to maximum as incoming cold water passes through the heat exchanger and modulates downwards electronically to produce hot water at the desired temperature. In central heating mode, on the other hand, the Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior fires at minimum output which is modulated upwards to meet the demand for heating and monitored thereafter.
The full specification and product details of the Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior are as follows:
- SEDBUK ("Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom") "A" rated for energy efficiency Class 5 for NOx (nitrogen oxide) emissions
- Maximum 24kW domestic hot water output
- "Keep hot" facility for instant hot water or environmentally friendly "Eco" mode which heats water from cold
- Compact H710mm x W400mm x D330mm dimensions and light weight (27.1kg)
- Mounting jig allows Worcester-Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior to be wall mounted without additional wall spacing frame and with no exposed pipe work
- Optional mechanical, digital and RF controls available
* When review applies to a range of boilers, efficiency applies to best model in range. Always check with manufacturer.
