CSI85 Reviews (Combi Condensing)

Ravenheat CSI85
The Ravenheat CSI85 is an award winning, highly advanced gas-fired condensing combi boiler. It has been designed to reduce the average domestic heating bill by around 35% (as well as minimising carbon dioxide emissions to help the environment) - thanks to its latest technological heating developments. It also has a very high hot water flow rate at 29 kilowatts a minute - offering eleven litres of hot water to the home per minute. It also has a special heat exchanger system, which is designed to absorb as much energy as possible from as little fuel as possible by making use of the otherwise unutilised flue gases - again reducing gas bills.
The Ravenheat CSI85 is extremely efficient (96%) and has various advanced features - such as tamper-proof operating contols, inbuilt and simple to read diagnostics, an easy installation/ operation system and a slim and stylish design. The Ravenheat CSI85 was also the winner of a prestigious industry award, for its innovative design for energy saving and ability to cut dangerous greenhouse gases. As with all Ravenheat products, there is also an excellent aftersales service support available with only extremely qualified heating technicians employed to service and solve any issues. Furthermore, Ravenhead is one of the few boiler manufacturers to hold the advanced ISO 9001.2001 accreditation system for its quality of boiler design. This means that customers can be assured of a quality product, fully tested and guaranteed from warehouse to your home!

I've had older raveheat combi's at previous ddresses with no problems. This latest range is a different kettle of fish. I've had virtually every joint on the boiler leak over the last couple of years (water pressure is comfortably within operating specs{. The relays have gone, seals gone, circuit boards blown, sensors failed. Its a nightmare of poor reliability. Barely a month goes by without a failure. The breakdown costs now dwarf the purchase price. I wish I had known the reliability of this model before deciding on its purchase.
MINE LASTED 5 YEAR'S... but the last year it was very poor, if I had'nt fitted in my attic with vertical flue, it would have been scrapped within 4 year's.... Poor design with 13x screws to get into the combustion boxing, this is after removing the bottom plate and the front covers first, so there's another 6x more screw's.... etc.etc.etc
