Biasi Riva
Biasi Riva boilers are a highly competitive range of boilers that have evolved from the ever popular Riva range, but now they are even more efficient. They have now been fitted with an additional recouperator heat exchanger. This allows the excess heat that is normally lost through the boiler to be reused. Baisi Riva boilers also have all safety features fitted as standard, which means you can buy one of these boilers with the peace of mind that there are no hidden extras. Each boiler is fitted as standard with:- Safety flow switch – protects against thermal shock if there is a lack of water in the system
- Frost protection system – prevents damage from frost in susceptible areas
- Boiler operation recognition system – prevents the boiler from ceasing up by automatically checking the motorised components after 24hours of inactivity
- Radio disturbance immunity – protects the boiler from harmful radiowaves
- Boiler modulation – a gas valve within the boiler maintains the temperature permanent within 1 degree
- Electronic ignition – eliminates the need for a pilot light and so reduces gas bills

I forgot to mention ,on the 8th April 2008 at 10.50am I reported an intermitent fault to Biasi with ref'to one of there boilers which was under guarantee & I was told the following & I quote 'we dont get involved with intermitent faults''you will have to tell your customer to contact us directly when the fault becomes permanent'.

We have installed aprox 300 biasi combis over the years and have always found them to be reliable products .However as I understand it Biasi U.K employ or engage service agents to repair any of there boilers that malfunction during the guarantee period , I have recently obtained information from them that suggests or implys(?)that these service agents are not representing Biasi whilst carrying out there in-warranty repairs(?) this may have certain consquences(?)that the customer/installer may not be aware of(?)I have sought comfirmation from Biasi but to date no response has been recieved(?)perhaps you might be advised to ask this question before purchasing the product??
