CD28C Reviews (Combi Condensing)

Alpha CD28C
The CD28C is a combination boiler designed and produced by the heating company Alpha. The CD28C is one of the flagship combination boilers in the Next Generation range. The CD28C provides 28kW of central heating output and is SEDBUK Band 'A' rated, meaning this boiler is also a 'green' choice.
Features include:
- 2m flying mains lead
- 3 year guarantee
- 6 year guarantee on DHW heat exchanger
- Alpha Hydroblock - uses less pipe work connections which saves space and makes access for servicing far easier
- Anti-cycling device
- Automatic bypass
- Daily pump kick
- Designed-in filling loop
- Fully modulating low NOx burner
- Seasonality valve - automatically adjusts the DHW flow based on the temperature of the incoming main, allowing for more flow in spring, summer and autumn.
- Stainless steel heat exchanger
- Valves & tails factory fitted
As with all of the Alpha range boilers, the CD28C is designed with ease of use and convenience very much to the forefront. For instance, the control panel is functional and very easy to use, with simple LED fault indicators to establish whatever problems might arise. Furthermore, the open flap on the front allows easy access to the PCB, should any maintenance or repairs need to be carried out.
Along with the rest of the range, the CD28C boasts a sleek, modern look and has a re-designed case featuring stylish curved edges, a high gloss finish and measurements of just 720 x 440 x 300mm. These dimensions mean that the CD28C is ideal for fitting alongside standard kitchen cupboards.
